Sending my love to everyone participating in Women’s March on Washington. In this picture, taken so long ago, I was blissfully young and uninformed about American politics, having just entered its borders. I only knew it was better than what I was leaving behind. Right now however, in a message to teenage girls in this day and age, I would like to say, stay strong! Educate yourselves about the world around you and be true. One day, you will be President of the United States. Hopefully, before you grow older, someone will have been the first female President of this land, and you will have footsteps to follow. Right now, the groundwork is being laid by remarkable women (and some exceptional men that stand with them) for you to succeed in this uncertain time. Your dreams will come true, so do not put them on hold. We go high! We march on.
